The short version

• No account, no sign-up, no login.
• Your search queries are never sent to or logged on our servers.
• The only data stored is an optional list of your recent locations, kept in your browser on your own device, and only if you allow it.
• Page views are counted with cookieless analytics that cannot identify you.
• We do not sell or share personal data, because we do not collect any.

What happens when you search

anywhereserp builds a Google Search URL in your browser and opens it on Google. The query you type is used to construct that link and is not transmitted to us or stored on any server we control. There is no analytics event or database write tied to your search.

Local storage on your device

To make the tool more convenient, it can remember the last few locations you selected. This list is saved using your browser's localStorage, which means it stays on your device and is never sent anywhere. It is used only to populate the "recent" suggestions in the location picker.

This storage is off until you allow it. When you first visit, a banner asks for permission. If you decline, the tool still works; recent locations simply are not saved between visits. You can withdraw consent or clear the list at any time by declining the banner or clearing your browser storage for this site.

Advertising

This site is free and is supported by advertising provided by Google AdSense. To be fully transparent: while we do not collect data, third-party vendors including Google do use cookies and similar technologies to serve and personalize ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

Analytics

This site uses Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It is cookieless: it sets no cookies, does not use your browser's storage, and does not follow you to other sites. No profile is built about you, and no data is sold or shared with advertisers.

What it records is aggregate and non-identifying — which page was viewed, the referring site, and coarse device and country information derived from the request. Your IP address is not stored; it is processed into a short-lived, one-way hash used only to tell one visit from another, and that hash is discarded within 24 hours. Because nothing identifies you and nothing is stored on your device, this measurement does not depend on the consent banner above, which governs the optional recent-locations list only.

Children's privacy

This site is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

This policy may be updated as the tool evolves. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
